JONES LANG LASALLE AMERICA SELECTS PITTSBURGH FOR ITS
LEASE ADMINISTRATION HEADQUARTERS

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Jones Lang LaSalle, an industry leader in property and commercial facility management services, signed a long-term lease for nearly 23,000 square feet at 525 William Penn Place. According to Rob Geiger and Scott Astorino of Grant Street Associates, who represented the landlord, Mellon Bank, N.A., in the transaction, the signing of this lease increases the occupancy level at the building to 86 percent. J.C. Pelusi and Dan Adamski, of Jones Lang LaSalle, negotiated the lease on behalf of their company.

Pittsburgh was selected from three finalist cities as the new location for Jones Lang LaSalle America’s Lease Administration Headquarters. After careful consideration of several cities, J.C. Pelusi cited the availability of the workforce, quality of living and proximity to other Jones Lang LaSalle operations, among its reasons for choosing Pittsburgh. In addition, Pittsburgh is home to two of Jones Lang LaSalle’s major clients: Mellon Financial and Citizens Bank, Pelusi said.

With 2005 revenues of approximately $1.4 billion, Jones Lang LaSalle manages a portfolio of 923 million square feet worldwide. It delivers lease administration services for more than 12,000 leases in 70 markets.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s decision in favor of Pittsburgh has boosted the confidence of local leaders in the city’s ability to coax new companies to the Downtown area.

"We are pleased to welcome Jones Lang LaSalle's corporate headquarters to Downtown Pittsburgh," said Michael M. Edwards, President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. "As the region's economic center, Downtown's central location, unique amenities and outdoor opportunities continue to attract significant business investment."

In addition to the Lease Administration headquarters, a call center also will be housed within Jones Lang LaSalle’s leased space.
