Pittsburgh – Grant Street Associates – Cushman &
Wakefield, a full-service commercial real estate firm, is pleased
to announce that Pressley Ridge and Northern Area Family Medicine
have signed long-term leases totaling 25,081 square feet at Pittsburgh
Office and Research Park, a Class-A office complex on McKnight Road.
Pressley Ridge will occupy 18,884 square feet – the full
fourth floor – of soon-to-be-renovated Building One, 5500
Corporate Drive, for its new administrative headquarters beginning
in January 2007. With a distinguished 172-year history of serving
children and families in distress, Pressley Ridge provides services
in six states and the District of Columbia. Now serving more than
3,500 troubled children and families on an annual basis, Pressley
Ridge also is an international leader in training professionals
to work with troubled children throughout the world.
Pressley Ridge was represented by Carrie S. Holstead of Carrie
S. Holstead Real Estate Consultants, the Pittsburgh affiliate of
International Tenant Representation Alliance (ITRA) Realty Group.
Gary Roberson and Michele Goetz of Grant Street Associates represented
Pittsburgh Office and Research Park.
Northern Area Family Medicine, a division of Genesis Medical Associates,
Inc. will occupy 6,197 square feet in Building Three, 5700 Corporate
Drive. It will be relocating its current North Hills office from
9335 McKnight Road in May 2007. Genesis Medical Associates, Inc.,
an independent physician-owned group practice, was formed in 1995
when physicians from six separate groups merged assets and operations
as a result of their mutual concern over physician acquisitions
by hospitals and the future of the healthcare delivery system in
Pittsburgh.
With roots in the North Hills dating back to the early 1930s, Northern
Area Family Medicine is one of Genesis’ nine physician practices
and 18 primary care physicians in the Pittsburgh region, collectively
employing more than 100 staff members. The physicians are trained
in all major medical areas, including pediatrics, internal medicine,
gynecology and preventive medicine. In addition, Genesis provides
Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography Testing services.
Northern Area Family Medicine was represented by Michele Goetz of
Grant Street Associates. Gary Roberson of Grant Street Associates
represented the landlord, Zell Two, Inc.
Situated on a 36-acre campus located just minutes from Downtown,
Pittsburgh Office and Research Park consists of four Class-A buildings,
including a medical building with available space to accommodate
