Pittsburgh, PA – Grant Street Associates, a member of the
Cushman and Wakefield Alliance, is pleased to announce that Pepper
Hamilton LLP, a multi-practice law firm with 400 lawyers in six
states and the District of Columbia, has renewed and expanded its
long-term lease at One Mellon Center. Rob Geiger of Grant Street
Associates, who represents the landlord, Mellon Bank, N.A., said
the firm will expand to occupy the 49th, 50th, and 51st floors of
the building.
Opened in 1995, Pepper Hamilton’s rapidly growing Pittsburgh
office focuses on commercial and construction litigation, corporate
and securities law, environmental law, intellectual property and
patent issues, labor and employment law, municipal and project finance,
real estate, sports and tax matters. The firm, which was founded
in 1890, provides corporate, litigation and regulatory legal services
to businesses, government entities, nonprofit organizations and
individuals throughout the country.
While Pepper currently occupies approximately 41,500
square feet of office space on the 50th and 51st floors of One Mellon
Center, it will assume an additional 20,822 square feet on the 49th
floor with the expansion. The new space is expected to be ready
for occupancy by December 2006.
