Pepper Hamilton ups Pittsburgh space

A Philadelphia law firm is continuing to grow its Pittsburgh office, expanding its local office space by 50 percent.

Pepper Hamilton LLP, which already has 41,500 square feet of offices at One Mellon Center, Downtown, is adding another 21,000 square feet, according to a statement from real estate brokerage Grant Street Associates.

Rob Geiger of Grant Street Associates represented the landlord, Mellon Bank N.A.

With 47 lawyers in Pittsburgh, the law firm was ranked No. 15 in the Business Times' most recent list of the area's largest law firms, in January. Overall, Pepper Hamilton has more than 430 lawyers in six states and the District of Columbia.
