Grant Street Associates signs leases totaling 112,251 sf during the first quarter of 2006

Pittsburgh, PA -- Grant Street Associates, Inc., a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, has completed the following lease transactions for the first quarter of 2006:

  • DKW Law Group has signed a five-year lease for 21,352 square feet of space on the 11th floor of Liberty Center. The landlord, Liberty Center Venture, was represented by Michele Goetz and Jack O'Donoghue of Grant Street Associates, and DKW was represented by Dick Cassetti of Alliance Realty.
  • Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and the US General Services Administration have signed long-term leases totaling 36,000 sf at One Adams Place, a class A office complex located in Seven Fields borough. With occupancy close to 50 percent, One Adams Place is at the heart of the developing commercial and retail center of the Route 228 corridor, just two miles from I-79 and the PA Turnpike. Timothy Goetz and Michael Siegle brokered the transactions.
  • Jones Lang LaSalle, an industry leader in property and commercial facility management services, has signed a long-term lease for nearly 23,000 sf at 525 William Penn Place. According to Rob Geiger and Scott Astorino of Grant Street Associates, who represented the landlord, Mellon Bank N.A., in the transaction, the signing of this lease increases the occupancy level at the building to 86 percent. J.C. Pelusi and Dan Adamski, of Jones Lang LaSalle, negotiated the lease on behalf of their company. The new space will house the company's Lease Administration Headquarters and a national call center.
  • KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, has renewed its long-term lease at One Mellon Center for 31,899 sf, adding 9,041 sf to its original space. KPMG plans to occupy office space on both the 20th and 25th floors of th erecently restructured One Mellon Center. Rob Geiger of Grant Street Associates represented the landlord, Mellon Financial, in the transaction.
