Pepper Hamilton Renews, Expands Downtown
Law Firm Extends Lease at Mellon Financial Center Through 2018

Pepper Hamilton LLP added 20,822 square feet to its current 44,000-square-foot space at One Mellon Center in Pittsburgh. The firm, which will now occupy the entire 49th, 50th, and 51st floors, also renewed its existing lease for 10 years.

Located at 500 Grant St., the 54-story, 1.5 million-square-foot office tower is in the Central Business District. Pepper Hamilton has been a tenant in the Class A building for more than 10 years.

Founded in 1890, Pepper Hamilton LLP is a multi-practice law firm with 400 lawyers in 10 offices. The firm provides legal services throughout the nation.

Robert Geiger of Grant Street Associates represented the landlord, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. Pepper Hamilton represented itself in a direct deal.
