THE SOLUTION

In 2007, UPMC, one of the region’s largest employers, relocated to the building and their space has LEED-Silver certification for energy conservation and environmental design with 27 floors of LEED certified interior space. Team Cwynar was an integral part of the leasing team that attracted the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to move their executive and administrative office functions to the building.

THE RESULTS

The 515,000 square foot lease is one of the largest leases signed in the Central Business District over the past decade. In 2011, UPMC Health Plan finalized their plans for a 267,000 SF lease at the U. S. Steel Tower.

From 2005 until present, Team Cwynar increased the occupancy 17.89% from a beginning occupancy 81.84% to the highest occupancy of 99.70%.
